I believe this was the first time I had seen the C-2A at an airshow, and there were two of them at the Truckee Tahoe Airshow.  The Grumman C-2 Greyhound is a twin-engine cargo aircraft designed to carry supplies, mail, and passengers to and from US Navy aircraft carriers.  The C-2A can deliver up to 10,000 pounds of cargo, passengers or both.  It can also carry litter patients in medical evacuation missions.  First flown in 1964, 56 of these aircraft were produced with 39 still in service and expected to serve until 2027.  In 2016 the V-22 Osprey was selected to replace the Greyhound with deliveries beginning in 2020.  Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm.
