Groggy's Latest Project: Twilight of the Clods

"You will answer for everything you post on here. Remember that!"

Over the past few months, I've started a few fiction projects which flamed out unceremoniously. Autobiographical works, historical comedies, a weird work on fascist cinema - lost interest in them all after. All have failed because I write better on blogs than word processors.
Bearing this in mind, and considering the two blog stories I have completed, I'm starting a new project: The Twilight of the Clods. As the title suggests, it will parody of pretentious Nazi-themed dramas (The Damned, I'm looking at you!). I haven't published any story fragments yet, but you can read my introductory essay/mission statement here.
Must admit, I'm ambivalent about this project. On the one hand, it's a genre ripe for parody and I'd love to try fiction writing again (even if it's an extended homage). On the other, I fear descending into tastelessness. Plus I'm as funny as a wet newspaper. Any thoughts, suggestions or constructive criticisms are welcome!
Back to movies tomorrow! I have at least one more review in my sling before July concludes.
