Groggy on Moviepilot: Algerian War Movies

My latest Moviepilot piece dropped today: Shadows of Savagery: The Algerian War on Film. This article covers 54 years' worth of films about France's "savage war of peace," from The Battle of Algiers through Outside the Law. Groggy's historical obsessions might as well go to some use, even if nobody reads the result.
I'll note the passing of legendary star Rod Taylor. Never a great actor, he nevertheless starred in such great films as Separate Tables, The Birds, Young Cassidy and Dark of the Sun.
