"Writing about history will prove that I'm not silly - I'm serious!"
Lately, my mind has been geared away from movies into history-related topics. This is largely due to work, where I'm helping research and prepare a 100th anniversary event for World War I. And also because I'm a giant nerd who enjoys that stuff anyway. So in the near-future, I might take a break (emphasis on might - Groggy knows better than to promise anything about a schedule) from writing about movies to focus on my second love. Expect articles on a variety of topics, though many of them will surely revolve around the Great War era. At the very least, it will be a break from Richard Nixon.If you are someone who visits this site purely for the movie reviews and commentaries, I apologize and assure you that we will get back to normal once this works its way out of my system. There are certain individuals out there who don't like it when I compare historical events to our contemporary madness. To whom I say, feel free to take it up with the Complaints Department.
