Last week our friends at Bestival Toronto announced that The Cure and Tame Impala would headline the second annual event in Toronto, today the remainder of the 2016 lineup was announced!

Toronto - With our two massive headliners, The Cure and Tame Impala, already out of the bag, we're over the moon to announce our gargantuan line-up of musical treats that will be joining us when the UK's official Best Major Festival returns to Toronto this at Woodbine Park.

Bestival curator Rob da Bank says: "Jamie xx's set last year on the fire breathing Temple Stage was one of my highlights of our first Toronto show, so I'm really excited that he's back, along with electronic behemoths Porter Robinson, Odesza, and the first lady of weird leftfield pop Grimes, plus we've got a huge undercard, too. See you in T-Dot!"

Bringing international artists together with Canada's finest bands and DJs across multiple stages and mega sound systems in the heart of Toronto, we have a cavalcade of amazing music in store, including the irresistible dreaminess of Odesza, floor-filling polymath Grimes, rhythm genius Jamie xx, genre-swerving wunderkind Porter Robinson, Gallic club-smasher Madeon and purveyor of perfect future house Tchami.Keeping your arms reaching for Ontario skies long into the night, we'll also have techno tour de force Dubfire, tropical house chief Thomas Jack, indie-folksters Daughter, the always enchanting Maya Jane Coles, indie new wave trio Wombats and aural adventurer Joris Voorn.

Stepping up to the ones and twos at Canada's most creative festival will be the incomparable Art Department, laidback disco duo Classixx, foot-pleasing Polish pair Catz n Dogz, and Hot Natured's Lee Foss, with psychedelic voyaging from Swim Deep, and dancefloor action from Beats 1's Friday night avenger Anna Lunoe. And we'll keep Woodbine Park dancing with Malaa, unstoppable force Shaun Frank, pigeonhole destroyer Giraffage, Minus alumnus Gaiser, supreme selector Tom Trago, and Jersey club sound's finest exponent 4B. We'll also have sets from Toronto duo Thugli, Bestival's own musical heartbeat Rob da Bank, face music pioneer Reeps One, Toronto's own Jonathan Rosa, and the inimitable Pusher, with appearances from The Twilight Sad, HRMNXY, Blajk, Elliott Vincent Jones and many more to be announced.

Keep an eye out for news of a wonderland of fun beyond the music, including the Bollywood Temple, our Costume Party and Parade, the Bestival Inflatable Church, circus troupes, Day of the Dead cocktail bus, marching bands, Sunday Best Balearic Beach Bar and much, much more.
