Tonight I am putting up a pair of earrings that are in a completely different category, though, ones I made this weekend with some leftover kyanite beads we'd bought for the Bluebonnet necklace. I named them "Unchain My Kyanite"....a better photo will grace the website soon, thanks to Lisa. These earrings are in that category of pieces that are made from what you have on hand: you look at stuff on your bench, muse over that and perhaps a little sketch you made of some cool earrings seen somewhere...then something happens. The result doesn't look like the little sketch at all, but I know it's part of where I started. Lisa likes to use chains, too, and I have probably been influenced by that, though she always hangs hers down like oak tree "chains" (we called them as children)--single strands of chain. Who knows--maybe that's where her inspiration lies! The subconscious is a wonderful thing. I hope you like the earrings...what a smokin' blue...!
