Noted local poet Therese L. Broderick will present a rollicking review of Alice Fulton’s book, The Nightingales of Troy: Stories of One Family’s Century — At 2 PM at the Albany Public Library, 161 Washington Avenue, on Tuesday October 1. Local history buffs don’t want to miss this.

Broderick, with a Masters Degree in Fine Arts, is the author of Breath Debt and numerous other poetry publications; has presided over literary seminars and workshops; and runs a free Local Poets Library. She is married to philosopher Frank S. Robinson.
