Two weeks ago, I graduated from the University of Sunderland with a First Class Honours degree. I had secured my graduate job before even finding out my degree classification (so I kinda assumed I'd done okay!) and I guess I was technically still a student! (I would've had this post up sooner but I still haven't seen all the photos yet, this is just a handful! Expect a few more to be added in the coming days)
Believe it or not, I actually considered not going to my graduation ceremony and I'm so pleased I changed my mind. A few days before the final deadline to get tickets for friends and family, it hit me, this is going to be the only time I'll attend something like this and after all the hard work I've put in, the long nights, the stress, the tears and all the amazing feedback I've received, I have to go! I'd massively recommend going to your graduation ceremony, even if you're not sure about it, you will enjoy it!
My ceremony was the first one of the week and we all had to be there for 8am to get gowns and mortar boards. It really was the one day I needed my hair and make up to go exactly how I wanted and I was up at 5:45am to get ready!
