Comprising of Pakistan Muslim League-Q leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Prevez Elahi and senior lawyer Khalid Ranjha the delegation met the TMQ chief at his residence.
Speaking to media after the meeting, Elahi said that the Tahir-ul-Qadri’s demands are under discussion with the President and the Prime Minister and they have informed him about the latest situation.
Elahi said issues between two parties are about to settle. However, TMQ chief said the final negotiation will occur outside Parliament House in front of entire nation in which the formula ad mechanism about the implementation of his demands will be discussed.
Talking about information of terror attacks on long-march, the TMQ chief without naming anyone, said if ‘two individuals’ are sent behind the bars then fears of any mishap will be decreased by 75 percent.
Earlier, accompanied by Shujaat Hussain and Prevez Elahi, property tycoon Malik Riaz arrived at Tahir-ul-Qadri’s residence to convince him to cancel or postpone his long-march due to security concerns but he had to return from entrance after cleric refused to hold talks with him.
Tahir-ul-Qadri said meeting with Riaz could have cause doubts over his long-march adding it is a public march and it could not be purchased. TMQ leader said he was not aware of Riaz’s arrival with PML-Q leaders otherwise he had bared them to not bring him.
On this occasion Tahir-ul-Qadri said he could be died, but not be purchased. He challenged that no one could even buy his show with all the wealth of world.
