Shortly after the official release of the Samsung Galaxy S5, Goophone (a Chinese company that makes knockoff copies of popular flagship phones) launched its own version of the phone called the Goophone S5. The Goophone M8 (based on the All New HTC One) has been added to its offer recently, too, even though the original phone has yet to be released.

This smartphone became available online only 48 hours after the unveiling of the Galaxy S5. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has a 5in Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. Its processor is weaker than the one found in the original S5: an octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 2GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage and has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. The Goophone S5 is available at the price of around 180 pounds.

The official release of the All New HTC One is scheduled for March 25, but Goophone didn’t waste any time in making a clone of the upcoming smartphone. The Goophone M8 sports a 5in screen (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) and a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek processor, backed by 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has a 12.6-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter. You can purchase it for roughly 140 pounds.
