Google Pixel 6 Can Receive Audio Features Such as Apple’s ‘Audio Spatial’

Previously today, Google released the first Android 13 Beta Build for supported pixel devices. According to Mishaal Rahman from Esper.io via Twitter, the files found in the Android 13 instructions built that Pixel 6 Pro might get audio features such as Apple’s ‘spatial sound’. This feature adds more dimensions to things that are heard through headphones using software tweaks.

The spatializer effect is included in the new beta, although not fully activated. The joint library for this feature was found in the “SoundFX” folder and suggested that such a feature might arrive at Google Pixel Duo when the public builds the Android 13 officially began to be launched at the end of the year.

We clearly don’t know whether the feature will arrive at Pixel 6, or even an older pixel device for the problem. We are also not sure whether the current or future Pixel Buds model will support the spatializer effect.

If such features arrive at Google Pixel, focusing on audio will help Google to compete with Apple in front of Premium sound. Such steps must also encourage Google to think about releasing competitors Max Airpods.
