Google+: Invite More Friends Using Twitter

Google+ has just made a really useful tool to help the amazing growth of the social network just by providing us with a shareable link. We have to take into consideration the step by step of this process to understand the importance and impact of this link. In the beginning, there were no invitations which could be bypassed by some invitations hacks. When that hack was disabled, horrible email invitations were enabled. Seriously Google, why? it was a torture to invite people this way!. Definitely, this new feature will help us to avoid the painful task of inviting all of our friends one by one via email.

Yeah, cool story bro. But how do I do it for my friends?

Actually, it is really simple to do:

1. First of all, you will need to go to your Google+ account.
2. Once there, you will have to click on your “Invite Friends” button. It is located on the right-hand side of the stream. It looks like this:

When you click this button, a new dialog box will appear with the two options in which you can invite your friends: Via Email (please don’t) or shareable link. You have to select the Shareable link option.

Ok now you have the link which your friends can use to sign up into Google+.

So, where does Twitter comes into play?

Twitter is the best way to broadcast this link among your friends, so you will have no other work than just tweet the link and done. There is only one thing I do not like about this: why a long link and no goo.gl shortened link? I do not understand this move at all or why this link option so late. Sometimes, I think they want to put some product and constantly “enhance” it by upgrading some features that obviously had to be done long ago.

Anyway, I do not blame them. They were working Google+ since Buzz and they did a great job.
