Google+ Collections Offers a New Way to Share Your Interests

Google+ Collections works quite similar to Pinterest Boards by allowing you to categorize your posts and offering users an option to either follow all Collections or specific ones they like. Author of the Collection can set the visibility to public, private, or to a custom set of people.

Google+ Collections is now available for everyone via the Google+ website. You’ll need to update the Google+ app to access Collections feature on mobile.

“Our happiest Google+ users are those who connect with others around shared interests and passions. So we set out to give people a place to express the things they love,” Google announced the feature via its official Google+ page.

Google+ made quite a success with its Communities, which allowed users a way to meet new people with similar interests and get more exposure for their content. New Collections feature further expands the social network’s take on user interests by creating groups within a user profile.
