As someone who struggles with consistency when it comes to staying fit I can tell you that it's the little things that keep me going. Little reminders that motivate me to get off the couch and work it out. Now that the weather is starting to cool down, that motivation gets a little weaker and needs a lot more pushing. Especially when winter hits, I tend to want to hibernate and going for a run is the last thing on my to-do list.
I realized that I am not the only one who struggles with this, I think the majority of people probably feel this way. So I came up with a gift idea that you can give someone (or yourself!) to let them know that they inspire you to keep moving and you aren't about to let them give up. While I was shopping at Walmart, I stumbled upon the knew goodnessknows® snack squares near the checkout and figured they'd be the perfect addition to a motivational fitness gift. They looked so delicious and reminded me that you don't have to sacrifice good taste for good health and doing a little good for yourself can go a long way. I grabbed one of each flavor and have loved them! My favorite is the goodnessknows® Cranberry, Almond, Dark Chocolate, but I also like the other flavors- goodnessknows® Apple, Almond & Peanut, Dark Chocolate and goodnessknows® Peach & Cherry, Almond, Dark Chocolate.

Motivational Fitness Gift Supplies:
Water Bottle (with a large opening)
goodnessknows® snack squares
Headphones/ earbuds
1 pair of Quirky Socks
1 pair of Touch Screen Gloves
Music Gift Card
Printable Label (found HERE)
Ribbon
Directions:
Using the water bottle as your packaging, place the goodnessknows® snack squares in first. Make sure they are laying flat against the wall of the bottle with the label facing outward. Next place your socks and gloves in the bottle, top it off with the headphones coiled up, then place the lid on the bottle. Tie the gift card around the front with the ribbon, and tape or stick the printable label onto the front. I printed my label on label paper so I could peal it off and stick it right on without the need for tape.

I chose each of these items to gift because they're little things that would make me want to or help me work out. The new tunes would have me working harder and the headphones would be perfect for when I'm outside. The gloves would give me no excuse to skip a run or hike on colder days as they allow me to us my apps and music without removing my gloves or letting my hands freeze. And even though no one else would see the quirky socks, they would give me a spring in my step.
