If you're not too busy sailing to pick up a good sailing book this summer, here are some classic suggestions. My own latest discovery is Patricia Vellinger's "Sailing There," a personal narrative of a couple's two-year adventure on their boat. They start by crossing Europe via the canals, then sail all over the Mediterranean and have lots of interesting experiences. A great read for sailors who hope to head for the Med as well as everyone else who has ever dreamed of spending some quality time cruising in exciting places.
