An unidentified person had snatched the gold necklace worth Rs.200,000 from a woman at Dickmans Road, Bambalapitiya while she was accompanying her daughter after a tuition class on Thursday evening.
The woman is an Assistant Manager of the Independent Television Network (ITN). The chain snatcher has fled the scene by three-wheeler.
