Going Forth.

The pictures in this post have very little to do with it.  July 4th was always the last holiday before school started back, which always brought fresh changes.  This time last year e and I were trying to find a place to live and were sending out the first of seemingly thousands of post-college job applications.  In one short year, I feel like he and I (seperately and as a couple) have matured so much, but most importantly... we've had a lot of fun.  I've struggled with missing college and the carefree lifestyle that goes along with it, but at the end of the day, being an adult in "the real world" can be way more satisfying.

I've spent the last couple months away from the keyboard and trying to cultivate the areas in my life that I enjoy most.  It's easy to say that you're too busy to squeeze all the enjoyment that you want out of your time, but I'm starting to learn that's not true.  You can't slow time, no matter how hard you try, but you can embrace each moment as it's passing through, use bad times as learning experiences, and be quiet and savor happy times.

And going forth, that's what I'm clinging to.  It might mean staying up late or skipping lunch to write blogs, search for the perfect rental home, or encourage a friend, but a fufilled and satisfied life is worth it.  I've said it before, but you can't sleep when you're dead.  Stay beautiful, and as always, thanks for reading.
