Yes yes, we are lucky, I know! We kinda miss going on road trips in Europe where we can travel across multiple national borders in a day. I remember when my grandma came to visit me (she was 74-years-old when she flew all the way north), we brought her to visit the Berlin wall and had breakfast in Sweden, lunch in Denmark, followed by dinner in Germany, much to her amazement when we told her she had set foot in three countries in a day.
Anyway, I feel super thankful and blessed to be able to revisit a beautiful place that I went during my graduation trip and loved every bit of it - Gold Coast!
I guess I won't be surfing this time round (not that I can really surf) but we will definitely be bringing the kids to the theme parks and also go on our first farm stay.
So, do stay tuned for more updates and pardon me if I am missing in action on the blog next week. After all, a family holiday is meant for us to unwind, relax and enjoy every moment with the kids, right? I promise to share with you all the fun parts of our holiday when I get back!
P.S: I can't help but comment on how toned and fit I looked back in 2006. Before I stopped exercising. Before I got married. Before I gave birth to two kids. Well, we are allowed to just reminisce, right?
