Thoughts on Godforsaken

ThoughtsGodforsaken is a found footage horror movie that does bring us a very interesting concept, that didn’t need to be found footage, because the story itself is and has all the potential to be a lot more compelling than the found footage gives. Everything about the mystery behind the events of the funeral along with the aftermath is something that would be hugely interesting to see more about. The weakness from this film, comes from the found footage plan, which will end up being everything people dislike about found footage, shaky camera, screaming and shouting, hiding any real horror involved. When it comes to the horror involved, we do get a lot of shock moments through the film, which often come off too similar to each other.

Final ThoughtsGodforsaken is looking for shocks, only to end up falling short of found footage weaknesses.
