Go to the Hear No Evil Festival on Sunday 24th May at London Fields Brewery in Hackney – Raise Money for Macmillan Cancer Support

By Djridings @fivethingsnow

Hear No Evil is a one day festival in an East London brewery. It’s about new music and comedy. It’s about enjoying nice beer. It’s about making the most of a bank holiday weekend. Oh, and it’s all for a great charity.

Last year’s sell-out event helped them raise a whopping £15k for Macmillan Cancer Support. They were nominated for Best New, Best Metropolitan and Grass Roots Festival in the UK Festival Awards.

Tickets are £15 and are available from hearnoevil.org.uk.

On the music bill this year are:
Kieran Leonard and the Horses
Mull Historical Society
Feltspar
Leisure
Disorder DJs
…with more to be announced.

They have also got musical bingo, comedy, theatre, blindfold dating and a magician. There will be a pizza street food stall and free beer tasting from 1.30-3pm, where people can sample some of the brewery’s craft beer and learn how it is made. And of course there will be plenty of their beer on tap.
