"Dear Emelia", I wrote, "I have a little disaster at my house. I have officially run out of Nutella". I pressed send on my What's App and waited. Emelia's Mom wrote back and informed me that my (then) four year old niece told her to instruct me to "...Go to the grocery and get more chocolate". What a sensible little bugger. I laughed and did just that. That was years ago, and it was the first thing that I thought of as I put this gluten free Nutella Bread into the oven to bake because I had officially, again, finished all the Nutella in my house. I didn't tell her this time, though, because five year old wisdom may put me in my place again.
Technically, this was supposed to be plaited Nutella bread, but because I skipped a step, it is just Nutella bread. And no...that step was not the plaiting process that I forgot, it was one of the chilling steps... and it made a huge difference, so if you're making this - be sure to do ALL the steps. The gluten free dough makes the process a little more tedious time consuming, so read the entire recipe first and plan accordingly.
Yes it is worth it.
And then...challenge yourself to ROLL a gluten free bread dough. It's easy. I promise.....just don't rush it and take your time.
*lol* I promise you that you can do this - just try it
Gluten Free Nutella Bread
Best fresh from the oven, this dough can be used with any filling really - cinnamon and brown sugar and pesto are all yummy options too!
