If you’re going to make a concept EP, it should be as excellent as the latest release from Colorado bedroom-pop outfit Gleemer. Dripping with nostalgia and anthemic angst, Gleemer’s No Goodbyes EP is “about a party that happened at a young college guy’s parents’ lakehouse. Each song is about a different person that attended.” With that description in mind, the collection of songs is brought to life in telling mental pictures as the sonic textures unfold.
