A 16-year-old girl was killed by her classmates in Connecticut.

Maren Sanchez, was assaulted around 7 a.m in the hallway on a Friday in a hallway at Jonathan Law High School she passed away 7:43 a.m.

The police don’t yet know the motive but they are looking into the rumors about a guy being disgruntled at Sanchez because she had declined him for prom.

Sanchez had “severe injuries that were visible around the neck area,” but the police chief would not say if any weapon was used.

The 16-year-old male attacker was arrested and handed over to police, Mello said. Because the attacker is a juvenile we don’t know his name.

People get rejected for prom all the time, but killing is never the answer to anyones problems. Today a bright, young girl died because she simply rejected someone. She didn’t deserve it. She was”a bright light full of hopes and dreams with her future at her fingertips.”

Take a moment to be thankful for your life.

“The truth is you don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow.Life is a crazy ride, and nothing is guaranteed.”
