Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life Countdown- Nov 5

Posted on the 05 November 2016 by Frontrowchat @FrontRowChat

This countdown wouldn’t be complete without recognizing that the ladies on Gilmore Girls have their own personal and unique style.  And no one encapsulates that more than Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham), a woman who arguably had more outfit changes than anyone else on the show.  Today we’re bringing you some of our favorites.

Nov 5- Top 5 Lorelai Outfits

Sairah- Lorelai’s dress that she wears to Liz’s wedding (S4E21)

I think I love this outfit so much because it is the one she is wearing when Luke finally allows himself to be in love with her.

Cassie- Lorelai’s Dance Marathon Dress (S3E7)

The black dress is not only stunning but the perfect throwback to when times were simpler and dance marathons were…. 24 hours? I don’t know about all that, but if they were doing a contest for best looking in this episode, Lorelai definitely would have taken home the trophy!

Aubrey- The shorts, boots, trench coats look. (S1E2)

Listen, I’ve been there. It’s all you can do to get the kid to school on time and you throw on what’s available. I just wish I had Lauren Graham’s legs and Lorelai’s attitude to pull off Last Minute Chic the way she does.

Hannah- Gone Fishing! (S3E10)

Only Lorelai would turn a fishing adventure into an attempt to make a fashion statement.  One of the things I love most about Lorelai is how committed she is to everything she tries.  Is she ridiculous? Yes.  And this outfit is just one of many examples of that.  But it’s the best. Lorelai’s confidence is one of my favorite things about her.

Lisa- Women of Questionable Morals (S5E11)

There are many reasons why I love this episode. But I really love how she’s makes dressing up for the winter months look good and stylish.  I also can’t help but this is the episode where she says she hates snow and I also hate the snow as much as she does.  The long pink pea coat just looks amazing.  This is really when I started to change my winter jackets to this… there is no lying about that.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life streams on Netflix starting Nov. 25.
