I'm really excited to introduce you to another South Florida blogger, Holli. She blogs over at The South Florida Sage. Holli went to Florida International University and got her
Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition, so you know she is all about healthy living! One thing Holli and I have in common is our love for some good juice. Today, join Holli as she reviews one of the newest juice bars in town! Let's get juicy! All photography appearing in this post taken by Holli Lapes
(click on the photo to view it in a larger format) Hello and Happy Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Month 2014! I’m Holli, founder of The South Florida Sage and blogger of all things food, photography and nutrition. I am excited to guest post on Take a Bite Out of Boca and talk about one of my favorite juice (or in this case, Juce) places in Boca Raton. I first came across Raw Juce during the first week they were open, which was back in October of 2013. At that time there were not many places offering cold press juice in the greater Boca Raton area. Since then, a few more places have popped up. My first visit, I purchased one of their cold pressed juices, the Berry Pear Chia (Bp).
Next time I went for a smoothie and got the Caribbean Chia. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! This was my first time having bee pollen (added on top) and I liked the added texture. I did make one modification; I asked them to add a couple of dates. I always love to add dates to my smoothies when I make them at home, it’s a great way to sweeten things up naturally and without adding cane sugar. Plus, dates are added fiber and potassium. Sage Says: stop stressing yourself out by focusing on limiting sodium, rather, focus on incorporating more potassium rich foods. Here is the Caribbean Chia smoothie I got to enjoy now and the cold pressed Pineapple Cucumber Mojito (Pc) I got to enjoy later.
Raw Juce also offers freshly packaged foods such as salads of sorts but I have not tried those yet. I did however try one of the Acai bowls on my most recent visit to Raw Juce this past weekend (Sunday March 9th).
