By this Spring, 260 aspiring dentists will be a part of Midwestern University’s new dental medicine graduate degree program with access to a beautiful new teaching facility in a suburb of Chicago, IL. The Downers Grove Campus opened in June 2013 and features a state-of-the-art learning environment for students. Midwestern’s Dental Institute is the first new dental school in Illinois in three decades and one of just three in the entire state.

Midwestern partnered with Henry Schein to build its first dental school in Glendale, Arizona back in 2011 and decided to work with Henry Schein again on this latest facility. Both have shared their story with Sidekick of how it was to build this five-story, 193,000 sq. ft. institute, complete with dental office design pictures, a list of the new dental equipment installed, and a description of their goals
