Johnny Wactor, known for his role as Brando Corbin on ABC’s General Hospital, tragically passed away after being shot early Saturday morning in Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. According to Wactor’s mother, Scarlett Wactor, he and his friends noticed someone near his car and assumed it was being towed. When Wactor approached the scene, a masked suspect opened fire.

Scarlett Wactor stated that her son did not resist or provoke anyone and was shot without reason. The suspects fled immediately, and no arrests have been made. The LAPD reported that the suspects were attempting to steal a catalytic converter from Wactor’s car. The 37-year-old actor was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital.

In addition to his role in General Hospital, Johnny Wactor appeared in various projects, including Siberia, Army Wives, USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage, and Supercell. He made his debut in Army Wives in 2007 and gained significant recognition with his role on General Hospital.
