{GBF Life + Style} What I Wore To The Brentwood Country Mart

I spent my Saturday afternoon at the Brentwood Country Mart, a place I hadn't visited in years. Painted in mahogany and white, the barn-themed retail and restaurant space looks like it was plucked straight from the pages of Huckleberry Finn. I took my time walking through the nooks and crannies of the cozy shops and while waiting in line for Sweet Rose Creamery, I became consumed by the simplicity and joy of the moment. Sometimes, all it takes is the anticipation of devouring homemade ice cream while basking underneath the glowing sun to open the barnyard doors to happiness.   I wore my Threads 4 Thought Vera V-Neck tee to the mart, a top rooted in charitable giving. Threads 4 Thought is a company doing good as it donates 10% of all sales of select styles to the International Rescue Committee’s New Roots program, which helps refugees become self-sufficient and contribute to their new home through community gardening, nutrition education and small-business farming. The donations will help to build greenhouses and purchase farming supplies, and giverefugees access to plots of landto grow fresh food forthemselves. The company's creed of giving and empowerment resonate and inspire me to do good!
