Despite it being quite local, this was the first time I photographed a wedding at Gate Street Barn. It has lots of areas to keep a photographer very busy! The bride and bridesmaids were so efficient and relaxed in the morning, I think they were ready with an hour to go! I believe the registrars actually kept Steph behind a few minutes just to be fashionably late! After the civil ceremony, Dean and Steph had a blessing which was a really nice touch. The weather was fantastic for the cocktail hour and everyone enjoyed the Pimms which seemed endless! The room for the wedding breakfast was so well decorated. Steph had been collecting Jam Jars for the flowers for a very long time! We postponed the couple images until after the wedding breakfast when the light was kinder and the skies were more dramatic. We were so lucky to get such an amazing sunset.
