GALAXY HEIST: Awesome New Online FPS Lets You Be a Pirate in Space

Galaxy Heist is a new kind of a space game that lets you team up with your friends, or go solo, and travel across galaxies to raid spaceships and battle against other players. Each ship gets controlled by a team of 4-5 players and a first-person shootout is the only way for you to take over the ship. Once you take control of a flagship you must defend it with its turrets or with small fighter ships to fend off incoming attacks.

The space pirate concept is not the only thing that makes Galaxy Heist so special. The gameplay is also 100% skill based, meaning there will be no pay-to-win or leveling up characters, and it will also work with Oculus Rift. Check out the Alpha gameplay footage to see how the game looks so far.

Space Bear Development, a small game development team based in London, is now seeking £65,000 (~ $100,000) on Kickstarter to make this cool game a reality. Galaxy Heist was greenlit on Steam in one day. After finishing development, the game will be released on PC and Xbox One. Have a look at the trailer for some more action.
