Sarah Buxton says that Gala Music will take some fans to a live barbecue where Snoop Dogg will perform.

At Play2Earn Expo Asia on Thursday, the Gala COO stole the show with a great talk about how Web3 could be used in the entertainment business.

She pointed out that Gala Music had already spent $2 billion on good things for the community, but Web3’s benefits went beyond money.

Buxton said that NFTs will reach their full potential when they are tied to an economy and experience, not just a short-term benefit like an image.

So, Gala Music is taking a group of fans to see Snoop Dogg in person so they can have a BBQ with him and Warren G, who will be cooking!

Buxton asked, “Where else in the universe could this happen?” Where else might regular folks meet out with legends like Snoop Dogg? It wouldn’t happen. It couldn’t happen. This situation is so interesting because of this fact. It’s taking away barriers and making it possible for people to get rewards and real value, which can definitely exist in this world.

“You get to make money,” she said, “not just because the artist is getting more listens and you own the NFT, but also because you probably met the artist, went to one of their shows, and were known as the superfan who helped them get there.”

During her powerful address, Buxton said that Gala Music had already put $2 billion into its community in the form of prizes.Gala Music has been making a lot of noise lately by signing deals with big names in the entertainment industry, like the supergroup Kings of Leon.

In fact, Web3 has benefits that go beyond what famous people and big bands can get out of it. Sarah Buxton says that artists with 20,000 followers may be able to make a living doing what they love in Web3.

She says that if 20,000 of your fans are willing to pay you $1 per month, you could use Web3 to become a full-time musician. When there are no limits on resources, as there are in the Web3 universe, think about how far that could go.

Buxton says it’s time to focus on adding real value for the whole Web3 community, not just for those who want to get quick results from an NFT. She also talked about how important interoperability is in the entertainment business, where artists can be in movies and a fan’s NFT avatar can be in a music video.

In this area, interoperability has been a top priority for the Gala ecosystem as a whole. They recently announced a partnership with Epic Games that lets users sign in directly to the Gala ecosystem.

Also, Gala Games’ blockchain game “Grit” recently made history by becoming the first NFT title that the Epic Games store would accept.

Gala is getting a lot of attention in the Web3 entertainment world, so stay tuned for more news from this Web3 powerhouse.
