Recipes are good – Freestyling is better!
Wedding celebrations often follow a set recipe.
There is a pattern to the day. To some there are set rituals, that hold deep meaning, to others these rigid rituals can be seen as confining or cliched.
Whether they be the couple, family or guests. As a documentary wedding photographer, I’m there, seeing and capturing them all.
Stacey and Jeremy’s Gaddens Manor Wedding was one day that free styled from beginning to end
Gaddens Manor Wedding
Formulaic recipes run rich through wedding day custom and tradition. So they should.
However there is also place for uniqueness, character and free styling. Attributes that should run rich through the veins of the day.
Stacey & Jeremy’s wedding was an experience on ‘firsts’ for me.
The first time I saw a bride weep at bridal prep! (After make up was just finished)
The first time I saw a vicar stop the music during the wedding ceremony!
The first time in a wedding ceremony, that the vicar involved all the congregation, handing the microphone around, asking ‘What is the secret of your long marriage?’
New experiences. It was a breath of very fresh air….. a joy to witness and capture.
Rev Patches Chabala bought a unique energy to the day, creating an already great vibe and taking one stage further. Free styling all the way!
