Furnish with Chesterfield Sofas

By Etspeaksfromhome
When I was young, I dreamt of a big white house with a lot of vintage furniture such as these classic Chesterfield sofas.  This is why I started to play The Sims PC games - I loved the idea of being able to design my own homes - and bought a number of expansion packs.  Since I bought my iPad, I continued playing The Sims Freeplay app and have been playing it for over a year and a half now.  The game allows me to create my ideal home from different types of soft furnishings, lighting to choosing the make of the car.  I would love to have a large Chesterfield sofas for my Sims and a brown wooden floor with white walls.  Of course, in real life I also wish that I could own one soon!  I don't want to just design my ideal home in a virtual world.I was so pleased to come across Distinctive Chesterfields which stock most of my favorite types of Chesterfield sofas.  This is a Yorkshire based company with highly skilled craftsmen who make their own fine leather products including sofas, occasional chairs, club chairs, footstools and bespoke office chairs, to the market in and outside of the UK.Take a look at their gorgeous Blenheim Chesterfield antiqued rust suite.  It can be made by any one of their antiqued, premium or deluxe leathers or, if you prefer, a fabric of your choice.  It is constructed of a beech wood frame with a hand tied spring support system in the seat with detailing of hand covered buttons and hand polished brass studs augment the lines of the arms.  The polished mahogany legs are mounted on brass casters for ease of movement. Also, what about this Drummond Chesterfield suite?  It has a strong sturdy base with more gently curving arms similar to their signature suite, the Blenheim.  This is made from a deluxe arabica aniline leather and has the hand made underpinnings, including the beech wood frame and 8-way hand tied coil springs.  This magnificent piece of fine furniture will make any room look stunning. I was very surprised that the price range of these two Chesterfield sofas in fact is very reasonable and affordable.  I still remember I paid for a normal looking L shaped sofa for just under two grands and these stunning sofas are priced around the same.  So now I know where I should go next time!So what about you?  Which is your favorite design or style?  What would you style your sofa with?  With upcycled furniture or perhaps a grand chandelier?  Do let me know!
