During the last couple of days, we have been witnessing an unusually heavy snowfall and low temperatures – winters are typically mild in Greece – which led inevitably to excessive wear of the most unflattering-yet-incredibly-comfortable shoes in the world, aka the Ugg boots. A self-proclaimed shoe person, I spend winters bundled up in ultra-warm clothes, so I can wear whatever type of shoes I like defying freezing temperatures; and I have to admit that it works – well, almost – every time.
