Now, about Thanksgiving and such...
For various reasons, we had an early Thanksgiving this past weekend. Someone else was in charge of the main dishes this year. I chipped in with an appetizer (this Smoky Bacon-Cheddar Cheese Ball) and a couple of desserts, including these fantastic macaroons. They are so easy, but such a crowd pleaser!
A phenomenon I've noticed at gatherings such as Thanksgiving, where several people have contributed to the table, is this: inevitably, someone, looking to graze on something tasty makes their way over to the table where various and sundry goodies are on display for the taking. They stand there, trying to take it all in, wondering what this is or what that has in it, and who made what. (Not, mind you, for the purpose of avoiding Aunt Sally's famous cheddar loaf, but so that the right person will receive the credit and thanks for the food he or she is about to consume, of course.)
So, for those of you who are celebrating Thanksgiving this week, like normal people, here's a few free printables, including some tags meant to solve this very dilemma. I've also thrown in  a "Gather together and Give Thanks" sign for your table or kitchen, and some extra labels for whatever! (I'm loving the chalkboard look these days.)
