Fun on the Yorkshire Farm- A Wedding Video

By Lovegetssweeter @LoveGetsSweeter

My goodness. This West Yorkshire wedding video is going to make you smile. Rebecca and Richard live on the site of their family farm, along with their 3 handsome sons and Richard’s family.

We arrived to perfectly lined up ‘Blockley & Son’s’ branded trucks, dodgems all set up, an ice cream cart and a marquee interior you would not know was set up inside a barn on a working farm!

And lets not forget the Ian Stuart wedding dress and champagne Manolo Blahnik Satin Hangisi Pumps (I love how they call them pumps and not shoes!)…

I arrived at their farm in Drighlington in time to see the stunning Ian Stuart wedding dress (I think it’s the stunning Pracatan dress with straps?) getting hung up by their huge mirror and the boys trying on their cowboy stetsons!

Over with the boys Lee ended up helping work out how to do their button holes as the ladies had their hair perfected. They shared all their rosettes, photos and trinkets that had a lot of meaning them to them to have featured on the wedding video before getting themselves ready for the wedding…

The wedding ceremony was only down the road at St Paul’s Church so the boys were there well ahead of schedule to welcome all the wedding guests.

Rebecca was helped in to her stunning dress by her Mum and two bridesmaids before adding the finishing touches.

Arriving in a white Range Rover (the perfect car choice for a Bride with a large dress I may add) Rebecca’s son’s and bridesmaids were waiting to walk with her to the church.

Paul chatted away with his Best Man (who looked more nervous than him) and his guests before they were asked to all stand to welcome his Bride…

The ceremony was lovely, with the eldest walking Rebecca down the aisle and the two other boys being ring bearers. It made the service even more personal and had the whole family involved.

As they left the church as husband and wife Richard had to pop back on his hat before heading to the car!

Back at the farm guests were greeted by a lovely drinks reception on the parents lawn as well as canapes served by the caterers. The kids enjoyed playing with the plastic pigs in the garden more (as well as pestering their parents for ice cream!).

Their talented wedding photographer Catherine (Eye Capture Photography) then got them organised for family and friends group photographs before they were all ushered in to the marquee for the wedding breakfast.

While the guests were taking their seats we took the opportunity to get some cool photos of the newlyweds in front of Richard’s very own gold truck (with his name on and everything!).

The marquee was breathtaking with its moody lighting and simple gold, blush and white decor. Then the new Mr and Mrs Blockley entered to deafening applause before taking their seats for their 3 course meal.

Speeches were soon here and as well as all the thank you’s the best man even had a few props and funny stories about the Groom to get everyone laughing!

Once the speeches were out the way the dodgems (yes, you read that right!) were officially open as well as the bouncy castle for the younger ones.

Ice cream was still on offer for anyone not quite stuffed from the meal too!

Guests had a blast on the dodgems and even Rebecca swapped in to her bridal converse in time to have a go herself…

And then it was time to persuade everyone to come back in to watch the new Mr and Mrs enjoy their very first dance as husband and wife, to Prince!

The Collective then kicked off the evening with some live music, a hog roast was served and we said our goodbyes with full bellies and some epic footage to share…
