EA COO Peter Moore has apologized for a questionable April Fools joke made by the official Frostbite Twitter feed.
“Our apologies to partners Nintendo America and fan[s],” Moore said on Twitter.
“Frostbite Engine’s poor attempt at April Fools not condoned by EA. Unacceptable/stupid.”
The Frostbite Twitter had made a series of tweets claiming the latest iteration of the DICE-built engine was coming to Wii U, citing its position as the best console of the current generation. The tweets have since been deleted.
