Today's eye candy comes in a delicious package all the way from one of the most picturesque villages in Mallorca, Spain. La Finca is a 13th-century farm that has been renovated into a gorgeous private vacation home with an eclectic decor that borders between rustic and modern sophistication. Its black, gray and white palette plays an important role in keeping the balance between these two styles. I love the fact that they painted the silhouette of an armoire around the built-in wooden cabinets in the living room to create the whimsical illusion of a larger piece of furniture. They also played the same cool trick in one of the bedrooms with the headboard. It's touches like these that add the element of surprise and ingenuity to a room and that make all the difference in making it special.
