Philadelphia-based band Friendship have shared the beautifully touching ‘You Might Already Know’ ahead of the release of new album ‘Dreamin” on 8 November via Owen Ashworth’s (Advance Base/Casiotone for the Painfully Alone) Orindal Records.

The record was recorded direct on to tape and this sweet Americana-tinged song finds Dan Wriggings offering his thoughts in a stream of consciousness: ‘My work clothes, I ate in the kitchen standing up. You sent me a picture, you were looking alright.’

He goes on to share his love for the song’s subject in a poignant and powerful way that falls somewhere between Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate) and Jeff Tweedy: ‘I’m sending back a message you might already know what it’s gonna say. ‘I’m singing the same song, come home, stay with me. Oh, you found a portal to my world and you walked right in. I didn’t think there was a door there but apparently it’s wide open’.
