Plot: Thought to be killed by the sole survivor of the last massacre at Camp Crystal Lake, Jason Voorhees kills his way back to the camp once again murder its inhabitants. This time, has Jason met his match in the little boy Tommy Jarvis?
Verdict: Bloodiest One Yet.
Story: It would be fair to say that this could be the slasher film that pushed things to a new level, by this I mean I takes away the suspense and goes for the best effect kills and plenty of them. We get the introduction of a full group of disposable teens for Jason to pick off. On the plus side we get the idea that someone is hunting Jason for the first time and an attempt to look deeper into Jason’s past. It will have the most memorable of shock values of the sequels and we finally see a full disfigured Jason and the way he goes is by far the best in the franchise. (7/10)

Kimberly Beck: Trish the girl who lives with her family in the woods, has a good heart and willing to help people on need of help. Good performance but just like all the rest of the lead roles, it won’t be the one you remember. (6/10)
Corey Feldman: Tommy the young boy who lives in the woods with his family, has an ability to make great make up and is smarter than his age. Good early performance for the child star of the 80s. (8/10)
Crispin Glover: Jimmy one of the hapless teens, who go to the remote cabin in the woods, plays the lovable loser with ‘brilliant’ dance moves. Good early role that fits in the genre well.(6/10)
Ted White: Jason more powerful than ever and fully hockey masked up, he is much more territorial now. Good performance as Jason to create a much more devastating version of Jason. (8/10)
Director Review: Joseph Zito – Gets some of the best kills of the franchise to date, but puts too much unnecessary nudity and terrible dialog in. (6/10)
Horror: Loses suspense but gains on gore. (7/10)
Thriller: Is not at the same level as previous for build, but leaves more doors open than previous films. (5/10)
Settings: Continuing to be set around Crystal Lake, this is the first time we have focused on people actually living there rather than visiting. (8/10)
Special Effects: Tom Savini involved on the effects makes some of the kills the bloodiest to date in the series (9/10)
Suggestion: Just like all the other Friday the 13th films this is one that only the slasher fans will enjoy. (Slasher Fans Watch)
