The Rock'n'Roll London Walk meets at Tottenham Court Road Station every Friday at 2pm.
DC Editor Adam writes…
A little bit of housekeeping in this post - how to find the Rock'n'Roll London Tour if you are running a little bit late…
Perhaps your train was delayed?
Maybe you stayed in the pub for too long? (I'm not judging.)
Maybe you were just unlucky – I am posting this on Friday 13th April, after all.
You'll always find us in Denmark Street for the first part of the tour. It's only a minute-or-two from our meeting point at Tottenham Court Road tube.
Here's a map…
Denmark Street is only 108 metres long so we will be very easy to spot.
We'll look a bit like this…
Here's a step-by-step guide…
• Face south - you will have exit 1 to Tottenham Court Road Tube on your right hand side. A big tower block – Centre Point – will be on your left.
• Walk to the SECOND set of traffic lights (just past Starbucks) and cross.
• When across the road turn to face the right and Denmark Street is a few steps along on your left. Here's how to recognize it…
Guitar shops…
A plaque for the diving bell guy…
More guitar shops (unless Consolidated Developments have closed them ALL down by then. Grrrrrr.)…
Regent Sound will be on your right at the end of the street…
If you go past this church – St Giles-in-the-Fields – then you have gone too far.
If you are STILL lost (!) give me a shout on Twitter @londonmusictours.
If after that you are STILL LOST (!!) then here's a playlist of 10 songs about being lost and we'll look forward to seeing you on another day (Fridays at 2pm, Wednesdays at 7pm from Tottenham Court Road tube)…
