I paid a visit to The Troubadour Club on Brompton Road the other day – my first in a long time.
And they've got a good night ahead on the 21st April - a tribute to the great Sandy Denny with The Julie July Band…
See www.juliejuly.co.uk/ for full details.
Here's the late Sandy Denny performing her most famous song…
I was pleased to see that they still have a tribute to Paul Simon painted on the wall…
It was one of the many venues in Britain where Simon plied his trade on his first sojourn to London back in 1965.
He's coming back for one last gig later this year. If you're in London for Paul Simon at Hyde Park, and want to make the occasion that little bit more special, you can book a private Simon In The 60s Tour – get in touch with London Walks direct to enquire about availability. The tour is available as both a walking tour AND a taxi tour.
Paul Simon will also feature on this afternoon's Rock'n'Roll London Walk.
