Being so busy really did motivate me, especially during times when April did become quite frustrating. My knee, the one I had surgery on almost two years ago, started bothering me pretty bad and still has. So when you’ve got so much to do and can barely walk, well it’s a huge let down. I had to drop out from the half marathon I signed up for, and have been bound to mostly sitting. For someone who is as active and constantly on the go, it’s been hard to accept and deal with. Here’s hoping this third round of therapy prevents these fall outs from happening in the future.
So having a non-stop working month with medical setbacks, I totally needed this week to just do NOTHING. I slept in more because my body was begging for it, and my mind just wasn’t in it to write up blog posts, and so I didn’t. I needed these days off, to refresh my mind, and to take care of a few personal matters. And work isn’t over, I’ve got projects and future events beginning up again later this month, so I needed to make sure that I was ready to hit the ground running. I definitely did overload myself in April, more than I probably should’ve, but like I mentioned here, it was really to challenge myself, and I succeeded! 2016 is all about success, and I’m going to give it all I’ve got to achieve my career dreams.
I’m hoping that this rain let’s up soon, seriously Mother Nature I need sunshine, so that I can finally enjoy doing the things this season brings back. How’s your 2016 at, I hope it’s great! Here are just a few snippets of what I was up to in April…

The most fragrant peonies. I seriously was to live in a field of peonies!
