1) Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes- 34M Weekend, 137M Total

Dawn is still very much on track to win the weekend, being largely unchallenged by everything except The Purge (which will still fall short).

2) The Purge: Anarchy- 26M Weekend, 26M Total

The horror sequel got a pretty good B cinemascore, which is shocking, but good for it. It should help in the long run. It’s not a great cinemascore, but it’s better than Sex Tape.

3) Planes 2- 19M Weekend, 19M Total

Planes has the highest cinemascore of the weekend, receiving an A, meaning that people really are enjoying the Disney sequel (originally meant for straight-to-video). The sequel is down from the original, and down from predictions, but 19M really isn’t a bad weekend. Still better than Sex Tape.

4) Sex Tape- 15M Weekend, 15M Total

Sex Tape is not having a great weekend. It’s under original projections, and it got a C+ cinemascore, meaning audiences are not enjoying the film.

5) Transformers 4- 9.5M Weekend, 226M Total

6) Tammy- 7M Weekend, 70M Total

7) 22 Jump Street- 4.5M Weekend, 180M Total

8) How To Train Your Dragon 2- 4M Weekend, 160M Total

9) Earth To Echo- 3M Weekend, 31M Total

10) Maleficent- 2.5M Weekend, 228M Total
