Freddie Hunt joins as presenter on Car & Country: Rush
Freddie Hunt, professional racing driver, and son of 1976 Formula One World Champion James Hunt has joined the presenting team for the adventure travel and car series Car & Country: Rush. He will co-present alongside current presenters Deepak Narendran and Ashique Thahir for episode 7, set in Scotland during winter, which is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
To coincide with Freddie Hunt joining the team, the series has been renamed from Car & Country to Car & Country: Rush.
Car & Country: Rush, available on Amazon Prime Video as part of the Prime Video Direct Content Submission Portal, has a unique format focussing on discovering the sights, sounds and culture of travel destinations all over the world. Every episode features its presenters driving stunning cars as they journey from one extraordinary location to another.
Freddie’s adventure starts in the Scottish Highlands, as he becomes part of the intrepid trio, and experiences the unpredictable and harsh Scottish winter from climbing in the wilderness of the cairngorms to white water rafting on the Findhorn during a snowstorm.
To navigate the snow, mud, craggy hills and the challenges of the brutal off-road conditions abundant in the Highlands, the team employ the legendary original Land Rover Defender and its descendent the all-new Defender.
