FRECKLES:-
Freckles are circular, flat spots on skin due to exposure to sunlight. They are found mainly in fair complexions.
These are pretty easy to treat because they’re closer to the surface of the skin. They can be easily treated with lasers, peels, and some skin care products. They generally fade away.
MELASMA:-
Melasma are concentrated patches of brown due to exposure to sunlight or hormones. They are the brownish discolouration of the face. They are mainly found in the women with darker skin tones.
Treating melasma is tough because unlike the freckle, the pigment is down deeper into the dermis so a lot of the topical creams won’t reach it. You need to consult a dermatologist for its treatment.
