Sweden’s Francis recently released the 2nd single from their upcoming and long-awaited full-length album, Marathon. The track, “Turning a Hand”, is presented in a sweet and innocent video, which follows two pre-teen girls on a day where they seem to be passing time without agenda. The video and the track definitely match the sentiment of “longing for innocence.”

The band has been around for close to 10 years, though the lineup of artists and musical aesthetic has changed much during that time. Lead singer Petra Mases has remained the same, however, with a vocality that matches the ethereal and weightless tone of Annie Lennox. The group runs their own record label, Strangers Candy, and also co-produced this album with Nicholas Vernhes (Deerhunter, The War on Drugs). The album is out February 5th, and you can pre-order now.
