Four Reasons to Love Paul Mitchell Forever Blonde Haircare

*Paul Mitchell Cruelty Free Forever Blonde Duo (£26).

This is one of two beauty posts going live this week and this one is all about a couple of new discoveries from the Forever Blonde haircare range by Paul Mitchell. I’ve been using this little duo for a couple of weeks now and it really has worked wonders on my hair so if you are looking to switch up your shampoo or simply want to give your hair a little TLC, here are four reasons to love this range.

Firstly, let me just say while I don’t automatically drop my usual hair products for something shiny and new but I am a firm believer that certain products can bring the best out of your hair and with new and exciting products being released all the time, it would be silly to stick to what you know. I love being blonde but if you are as light as me, keeping your hair in good condition is a full time job.

1 It’s cruelty free: One of the major things that make this range stand out from the other blonde specific ranges out there is it’s cruelty free.

2 It’s specifically for blondes: I’m quite picky when it comes to the shampoo that I use but I always like to experiment in case there is something life changing out there that I’m missing out on. However, whatever I decide to try, it will always be a product that is designed to be used on blonde or coloured hair.

3 It keeps your hair bright not brassy: When I first used the Forever Blonde shampoo, I noticed two things, the smell lingered on a lot longer than my current shampoo and my color still looked super shiny and the tone of my blonde hadn’t changed at all. Some products that I’ve used in the past that promise to brighten your blonde hair have only succeeded in turning my blonde hair a little bit gingery so I was pleased that although it hadn’t enhanced my color it hadn’t changed it for the worse.

4 It detangles like a dream: The Forever Blonde Dramatic Repair is my favorite out of the two products by a mile. While the shampoo is nice, it didn’t really offer anything different to my usual shampoo and it’s almost double the price but the Dramatic Repair is a game changer and I would consider buying this again. I applied it to damp, towel dried hair in place of my usual leave in conditioner and it’s really hydrating as it contains macadamia nut oil  (perfect if like me, you tend to bleach your hair regularly).
