Verdict on Fortunes of War

Fortunes of War is an action-adventure following a unit of British commandos trying to escape Normandy. However, they come under attack from a German unit and make an even bigger discovery. It gives them an even bigger threat as they look to outsmart the German soldiers.

This is the latest in a series of movies that show a small British group of soldiers facing off against a German unit. They are outnumbered and look to use the location for an advantage. It is also another movie that struggles to give the intensity required for the situation they find themselves in. We have seen a few movies like this recently and they just lack enough to draw us in to believe in the world we are facing.
