Maligawatte Police said that thieves have broken into the Maligawatte political coordination office of former Member of Parliament Mujibur Rahuman, who has come forward as the mayoral candidate for Colombo Municipal Council from the SJB.
Rahuman’s coordinating secretary has complained about it day the before yesterday (22).
This office is located at Jayantha Weerasekara Mawatha, Maligawatte.
The police said that the front door of the office was broken and a 36 inch TV set worth about Rs.50,000 was stolen.
